📢 We're Hiring: Yoga Coordinator (Part-Time) – Support Wellbeing & Rehabilitation in Prisons

Do you have a passion for using yoga and meditation to support rehabilitation and improve the wellbeing of people in prison?

The Prison Phoenix Trust (PPT) is looking for an experienced prison yoga teacher to manage relationships with prisons across London, the Southeast, and East of England, while supporting and recruiting yoga teachers to deliver classes in secure settings.

About the Role:

📍 Position: Yoga Coordinator (Part-Time)
💰 Salary: £31,067 FTE, pro-rata (2 days a week) + contributory pension
📆 Contract: Fixed-term (2 years)
🌍 Location: Remote (must be based in the Southeast for prison access)
📌 Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Coordinate yoga, meditation, and mindfulness classes in prisons and secure settings
✔️ Recruit, support, and help train local prison yoga teachers
✔️ Manage relationships with prisons in London, Greater London, Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Essex, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire
✔️ Occasionally attend staff training and annual events in our Oxford office

Who We're Looking For:

✅ Experienced yoga teacher with knowledge of teaching in prisons or similar settings
✅ Strong relationship-building and communication skills
✅ Ability to support, mentor, and train yoga teachers
✅ Committed to inclusivity, rehabilitation, and wellbeing
